On behalf of the Ministry of Education, CERNET Management Committee implements the management of CERNET, coordinates relevant governmental agencies and universities, investigates relevant major issues and formulates relevant policies; appoints expert committee, directors and deputy directors of network centers and directors of core nodes of CERNET backbone network; coordinates and supervises CERNET related companies’ long-term investment and support to CERNET according to national laws and regulations, ensures CERNET secure, stable operation and CERNET development healthy.
